How Trips Work
From announcement to confirmation
Study & Chill does not use a standing budget to subsidise trips. Each trip must cover its own transport and accommodation costs through participant payments, so registration opens before the trip can be finally confirmed.
Registration opens
Students can register once the route, expected price, capacity and participation conditions are ready.
Trip confirmed
The trip is confirmed after the required participation level is reached and the necessary bookings can be secured.
Questions About Study & Chill Trips
Who can join a Study & Chill trip?
Each trip page states its eligibility and participation conditions. Trips are generally designed for students and Study & Chill community participants, but individual routes may have age, document, mobility or registration requirements.
Why can registration open before a trip is confirmed?
Participant registrations show whether the trip can cover its transport and accommodation costs. The trip becomes confirmed only after the required participation level is reached and the necessary bookings can be secured.
How will I know when registration opens?
Registration links, prices and confirmation updates are published on the trip pages and shared through the Study & Chill WhatsApp community.
Where can I find transfer and refund conditions?
Read the individual trip page and the linked event terms before registering, because conditions can differ depending on the booking, transport provider and participant threshold.
